He Will Only Do, What He Alone Can Do

 Jesus takes His place

As our Savior only

The rest He leaves to us

That we are left knowing

"Roll the stone away"

Be a part of His miracles

"Lazarus, come forth!"

Heed the spirit. Heed His calls

"Loose him.  Let him go."

We are not in control

Each of us, too, must know

That we can have a role

That which we can do...

Each of us, is required

He teaches us anew

To do, as one inspired

capacity 

talents, gifts

He calls.  We heed

Love uplifts

be of good cheer

cave not to fear

the Lord is near

Give Him your ear

Jesus will only do

What He alone can do.

His work of saving,

He calls for each of us.

We can do this!

I thought I would go back and read a talk recommended by someone saddened by the news of Elder Bassett's passing at the young age of 59.  He died of a head injury.  "He was with family"- those are the most comforting words!

As we move forward with faith in Jesus Christ, the fourth day will always come. He will always come to our aid.
