The Martyrs

Now or in the next life

Those who have suffered for Christ

God honors and rewards

For their love filled sacrifice

He knows the pain of that price

Blessed, Blessed

Are the persecuted

Stand firm.  Believe

His love will keep you rooted

That trial, hardship, persecution 

You never ever suffer alone

When its in His name- our Lord is there...

As every painful step He has known

For you... for your persecutor- He did atone

Tested, Tested

Were the resurrected

Walk on. Believe.

Follow Christ, be perfected

Though, 

now you suffer

Cling to hope 

and share 

What God offers

“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.” – Revelation 2:10

Others suffered on the cross

But for the Only Begotten, it was worse

Abandonment was the cost

From the Father- His strengthening source
