 Asking for forgiveness I humbled myself in prayer, Save me from myself, Jesus... Of all my sin's burdens... I now share

For change, it was time, the pain all too real My choices so selfish, I'd acted in pride My heart so hard and heavy it needed to heal I could no longer run from God nor could I hide Setting my ego and desires aside! I trusted to obey. With Jesus to abide. Love and tenderness combining I feel abundantly blessed It is sacred and refining Purely, quietly- rest Seeking for forgiveness, I completely confessed My repentant heart melted, mindful of His grace I recognized how abundantly I have been blessed Here, I see He refined me in quiet sacred ways! I feel my heart changed In quiet sacred ways
