We, the United States citizens
For two hundred and fifty years,
Have held up high our flag of freedom
And pledged allegiance with love and tears:
"One nation, under God,.." That's how strength appears!
In the quest of freedom,
There have been victims,
Parting, leaving wisdom!
Our heroes, they witness,
God lives! He is with us!
