What a Blessing!
The atonement of Jesus
Is the answer to all we're addressing
On each day for each of us
He is there. Yes, with us! What a blessing!
We can never speak enough
Of the lessons we learn
Of how we feel His love
And, for His presence yearn!
I Just Can't Give it Up!
I paid such a high price,
In sacrifice, to gain...!
That I just can't give up!
For, that would cause me more pain!

On a Scale of 1-10.... a 10+++ Constant!
The most brilliant mind
Cannot imagine enough
The worst pain you could find!
For, in reality, it's TOUGH!
The weight, with its entirety,
Fully sinks in ...
To explain this reality,
One cannot begin!
You can read about and interview others, but you have to feel the weight of the entirety of the pain to understand the reality of it all. Then, there are no words that can describe the pain to another! Also, when the pain is over it is hard to "feel" it again. Otherwise, women would be terrified to go through labor pains again! I remember panicking, when I went into labor with my second baby because it was then that I started to remember the pain- all to familiar! And then, afterwards, as a nursing mother- you cannot forget your baby for when they are in need of nutrients, you fully respond to that cry of need. Finally, there's adoption- the loving sacrifice of giving up a child so they can be raised with all their needs met. Sigh.

Defining Pain
Pain is difficult to define
And tolerance levels vary.
How do you know who is faking?
At the passing out point, surely!
Yet, Jesus did not "lose it"
He maintain a level head
He sweat and bled from each pore
When any other would be dead
Pain can lead to fainting or passing out, a response known as vasovagal syncope. This occurs when the body reacts to extreme pain or stress, causing a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure.
Mechanism of Fainting:Nervous System Response: Intense pain triggers the autonomic nervous system, which can cause blood vessels to dilate and heart rate to slow.

The Volunteer of the Year and of All Time!
Yes YOU, the volunteer,
Will have to do this all alone.
Clean up other's messes.
The extent of which is unknown.
Nonetheless the Thankless Job- (lack of recognition with high demands)
Some may think to thank you.
Others will care less.
You will be tested, too!
DO IT, nonetheless!
Not a Nameless Pain
You've put a name to the pain!
And somehow this helps?
It means you are not insane,
Or left to yourself!
Your unique pain is known,
By somebody else!
And you don't feel alone!
Even... as your life pales!
Jesus can put a name to your pain! Spasms, throbbing, cutting, stinging, frightful, unbearable, crushing, radiating, stabbing, searing, splitting, burning, blinding, shooting, penetrating, nauseating, smarting, spreading, torturing, etc.
And then there is emotional pain
stages of grief...
anxiety, fear, worry, numbness, post traumatic disorder
depression, sadness, hopelessness, worthlessness, isolation
shame, guilt, failures, self-criticism, self-loathing
loneliness, rejection, abandonment
anger, frustration, jealousy, obsession
The Why
He was not in it for praise
Pleasure, power, or fame.
It was not for attention.
Seriously, it was not a game!
In a me society,
We think, "Who benefits?"
We scale "Probability?"
And, place labels where it fits...
But, for all eternity
His why was out of obedience,
Necessity, and perfect love.
He knew, He alone could atone
For our return, to God, above
Jesus had so many reasons
Much too infinite to count
He saw each of us, in all our seasons
And suffered the exact amount
Magnitude
The magnitude...
Pressed with full weight
It was bitter, too
Much too vile to rate
Birth - Rebirth
Birth offers promise
And vast opportunities for growth
It comes from much sacrifice
For what is both magical and gross
The gush of fluid, the blood, the aftermath,
The cutting of the cord
The slippery baby needs a bath
A child of God is born!
Another kind of birth
That offers us a clean new life
And establishes our worth
Spiritually reborn of Jesus Christ
Immersed fully, incased in water
We are baptized in the name of
The Holy Ghost, the Son, and the Father
And join the covenant path, thereof
But, more so in the blood of the lamb
Come the last and final day
According to the Father's plan
Our sins will be washed away

For forgiveness on behalf of each of us!

One Way or Another
Either you repent

(Through Christ) or alone we'll pay

Jesus is Four Things
Jesus is light, life,
Power, and law
He is in all we find
And I stand in awe
That Monster!
That monster called death

The Lord paid the debt
The resurrection is our friend

That He was Jehovah.
He had to be taught

How Do I Get To Know the Savior?
How do we get to personally know the Savior,
When there is no one like Him on Earth?
Through loving service to others, kind endeavors
And sacrifice. When we feel our worth.

If we could have the Savior,
In our home this week,
How we'd clean up to prepare!
And, the best of help, we'd seek!
Yet, the reality is,
He already knows

For, on our Spirit, it shows!

The Best Cleaner

Yes, for the help, be eager
Buried in Mess
I was buried in such a mess
Each day was chaos until
There wasn't room for much else
I truly was in need of help
12 Year Affliction
An unclean woman
A societal hassle
She could touch no one
Never a prayer tassel!
Still, she snuck behind
To steal a blessing
Touched, He looked to find...
She spoke confessing
She'd been afraid
To face Him and ask
But she had much faith
Yes, her issue had passed!
Now, fearing and trembling
Was she in the wrong?
Was He angry or upset?
No, He praised her faith strong!
While in the Act- No Shame No Guilt No Embarrassment
She knew full well
All that she had done
He did not condemn
He did not condone
Caught in the act
Of a grievous sin
He knew each fact
She got, "Sin no more" from Him
He was the only person
Qualified to throw a stone
He taught she was not her sin
Changed, her praise for Him shone
Open the Door

As He saw all that could have been...
He knows anxiety, shame, and regret
And all that's unfair we've been given
What's the worst that you have known?
He felt that...and oh so much more!
The weight...our sins became His own!
He sweat and bled from every pore!
The hardest part?
The shock to His system!
Is He was pure!
And no vile was in Him!
Still He held on
Obediently with faith
Doing no wrong
Midst evil was His to face
Knowing Circumstance
He is the best judge
Of all mankind
For He bears no grudge
Our good, He'll find!
Who best to show mercy
And to pardon each sin?
He can perfectly see
From the start to the end
He knows the conditions
And our state of mind
In every situation
That life can design
He's your best witness
And your best defense
He knows sure justice
For a just sentence

Would have been right for me
All that I am

Justification Sanctification
My nature needs help
So I can become
Better than myself
And more like the Son
Justified
She did her sentence
But no change was made
There was no remorse
Yet her time was paid
Not one of us is safe
From the weight of sin
But Jesus pays the debt
Again and again
Sanctified
The sentence was death
She made her peace
And to her last breath
Goodness increased
Still no holiness
Or changes that we make
Can perfect us
The Lord knows what it will take
The Lord will get us there
In this life more to face
Through obedience where
He molds us more in place
Freedom and joy to feel
From His mercy and love
Through His hand in all things
To perfect us for Heaven above
