Jesus was pressed with all our pains and sins
In the Garden of Gethsemane ,
As He felt how every trouble begins
And grows in darkness by the enemy!
Before and while being crucified,
He knew His atoning blood only begins
After all the demands of justice are satisfied!
More so, twas all consuming, the pain
Of feeling separated from the Father.
Still, too, He knew it was the only way to gain
Knowledge of man's frailties like no other!
Never can we doubt the love of Jesus
For every soul who ever was, is, or will be!
Never can we doubt He wants for each one of us
To be prepared for the gates of eternity....
Where, through Him, with Heavenly Father we can be!
