If The Lord Were Here

If the Lord's return was now, today,

What would you do? What would say?

Would you drop everything and turn to Him above?

While singing the song of redeeming love?

Will some hesitate, usure?

And, take one look back at what thrills?

Will some not have oil in their lamp?

And run to hide deep in the hills?

Now is the time to prepare

Yourself first and foremost

Then with the Light from your lamp, share

By the power of the the Holy Ghost
