February 28th is a special day where 2 of my poems from 2014 started to be viewed in numbers. I wish I could go back to that day and understand why these 2 poems became my two top viewed today.. Silently you read
And what did you learn?
Was your Spirit led?

Did you find what you need?
Did you tell a friend?
Did these words plant a seed
And help you in the end?

The Challenge of Belief

In the beginning
With Adam and Eve
Was contradiction
That challenged belief

 By transgressing
 God's laws in their hearts
 The first family
 Must depart to start

 Not knowing all things
 We come unto truth
 The spirit this brings
 Conviction's proof

 How do you explain
 Your witness as proof?
 To make sacred plain
 Makes light of the truth

 It is in the struggle
 The challenge of faith
 That we become humble
 And receive God's strength

If "this man" had come with an honest heart,
Seeking to "know for himself"
Answers would have come,
The spirit would have helped.

Opposition only strengthens- a renewed faith to show
With the supposer ever searching and never coming to know...
It is not for man to "attack" churches and expose faults
but to seek what good they offer by the truths that are taught.

The Savior Wants to Forgive

You can shut out the Lord
 But He is still there
 Pray,
You can hear His Word
 And feel His sweet care

Look how wonderful lds.org is. I googled this verse and it came up with cross references!

Mosiah 26: 30 Yea, and as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me
.Moro. 6: 8. 8 But as oft as they repented and sought forgiveness, with real intent, they were forgiven.
Ezek. 33: 11 (11, 15-16) 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Amos 5: 4 (4-8) 4 ¶ For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, seek ye me, and ye shall live:
Acts 3: 19 (19-20) 19 ¶ repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
2 Ne. 1: 20. 20 And he hath said that: inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall prosper in the land; but inasmuch as ye will not keep my commandments ye shall be cut off from my presence. Mosiah 29: 20. 20 But behold, he did deliver them because they did humble themselves before him; and because they cried mightily unto him he did deliver them out of bondage; and thus doth the Lord work with his power in all cases among the children of men, extending the arm of mercy towards them that put their trust in him.
