Carrying Our Sorrows and Sins
He carried more than just the cross.
He bore the bruisng weight of each soul!
All our sorrows and sins, at grave cost!
Plus, they reviled and mocked Him so!
Comfort and Concern
Above Him a sign, The King of Kings
He did not speak to grieve His case
But, as He was placed between two thieves
He taught them of paradise, a place
Abandonment- The Truest Cause of Anguish
Nailed for hours, reality increased
Feeling abandoned from His Father, He
Anguished, was God displeased?
And asked, "Why has Thou forsaken me?"
Forgiveness-Interceding for His Transgressors
Ever trusting in our Fathert's plan
Out of obedicence and love
He asked forgiveness for each man
Before commiting His Spirit to God, above (He didn't just expire)
Paradise/
His torn body, with broken heart
Was carefully laid to rest
Yet, in Spirit, in Paradise, He set to start
The preaching of the gospel to the dead!
