Luke and Duke met back in grade one
They grew huge in attitude
Both abused the rules to poke fun
In music, they were quite rude!
Luke's mother did not have a clue
For at home he is so cute
So kind and does not argue
To amuse, he plays his flute
Duke, though, like a human statue,
Refuses his mom's every rule
Oft, in the refuse, she must rescue
His band uniform for school
One day, Luke's mom got a call
He called his teacher a synonym for mule!
She did not think this cute at all
This extra trip, he would owe her for the fuel!
Rude is truly not so popular
That night mom had barbecue
While poor Luke washed the car
And ate what prunes too dry to chew
His mom made him wear a suit
The next day. His mood was blue
He told the school band he'd been a brute
This change in tune was past due!
