Charleston Shooting

From Mormon.org: As the heartbreaking news floods in about the#CharlestonShooting, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and all those affected by this terrible tragedy. In the words of The Book of Mormon, mourn with those that mourn, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. Mosiah 18:9.
As more breaking news floods in....
The count of each victim;
I want to mourn within
For their loss as tears brim.

I pray that you find answers
Who or what did he come for?
In God's church full of strangers?
Above all may you feel comfort

This is God's house of love and prayer
Where we come unto the Prince of Peace
And turn ourselves over unto His care
As we vow to serve the "least of these"

Why did he do it?
For some reason I want to put myself in their shoes.  If I were at church and this happened during one of our meetings.  How horrible. How sad. It should be the safest place on earth. It is a place of peace and prayer.

I learned that one of the victims was

Tywanza Sanders a recent college graduate was a poet.  Now that doubly hurts my heart.  I hope his book of poetry gets published!
