Parallels- The Wilderness and the Atonement

He created the heaven and earth
According to God's plan
Then He condescended unto birth
To live and love with man

Jesus walked the wilderness
And fasted for forty days;
Then tried in his humanness
Became the Christ in all ways

Fully, to know the God of all,
Our Father, to emulate
He then redeemed us from the fall
And for humanness, He paid

Having been tried in all things
As one perfect in every way
He suffered all of mankind's pains
And, in our place, for sins paid

Wikipedia
Christ is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ) and the Syriac ܡܫܝܚܐ (M'shiha), the Messiah, and is used as a title for Jesus in the New Testament.

I was just thinking that there was a connection between Jesus' time spent in the wilderness, where He was tried and proved in all things and in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He took upon Him our pains
