Good Things are Created Twice

Good things are created twice

Through the light of Jesus Christ

First in the thoughts that arise

Until, then, it springs to life

What builds to surface?

Seek with the end in mind

Get fired up with purpose

You've gifts inside to find

God's power behind you

Is greater than what's ahead

You have a work to do

Seek the spirit to be led

"We don't invent our mission; we detect it."  Victor Frankl

Verse 1] Through the light of Jesus Christ A thought begins to rise Held within the quiet heart Till it steps into the light [Pre-Chorus] What is building to the surface? Seek with the end in mind Get fired up with holy purpose There are gifts inside to find [Chorus] Good things are created twice First in the thoughts that arise Then by faith they spring to life When Your Spirit leads my eyes Good things are created twice You place the vision in my heart With Your strength behind my steps You will finish what You start [Verse 2] God's power is behind me Greater than what's ahead You have given me a work to do And daily bread to spread [Pre-Chorus] So I listen for Your leading I lay my plans aside With a willing heart and open hands I follow where You guide [Chorus] Good things are created twice First in the thoughts that arise Then by faith they spring to life When Your Spirit leads my eyes Good things are created twice You place the vision in my heart With Your strength behind my steps You will finish what You start [Bridge] Breathe Your courage through me Make the hidden promise clear Turn the spark into a witness Let Your kingdom gather here I will walk the road before me I will trust the voice I hear What You planted in my spirit Will bear fruit in its season [Final Chorus] Good things are created twice First in the thoughts that arise Then by faith they spring to life When Your Spirit leads my eyes Good things are created twice You place the vision in my heart With Your strength behind my steps You will finish what You start [Outro] Through the light of Jesus Christ You will finish what You start

Verse 1] Good things are created twice Through the light of Jesus Christ First in the thoughts that arise Until then, they spring to life [Pre-Chorus] What builds beneath the surface? Seek with the end in mind Get fired up with purpose There are gifts inside to find [Chorus] God's power behind you Is greater than what's ahead You have a work to do Seek the Spirit to be led God's power behind you So lift your heart and stand The path will come alive When you place it in His hands [Verse 2] Let every hidden vision Be tested in the light Let faith become decision And courage make it right [Pre-Chorus] What builds beneath the surface? Seek with the end in mind Get fired up with purpose There are gifts inside to find [Chorus] God's power behind you Is greater than what's ahead You have a work to do Seek the Spirit to be led God's power behind you So lift your heart and stand The path will come alive When you place it in His hands [Bridge] Not by striving on your own Not by fear of what you see Every seed that God has sown Finds its season faithfully Take the next step, hear His call He will meet you as you go When your strength is small His strength will flow [Final Chorus] God's power behind you Is greater than what's ahead You have a work to do Seek the Spirit to be led God's power behind you So lift your heart and stand The good He formed in thought Will rise by His command [Outro] Good things are created twice Through the light of Jesus Christ
