Then the Dawn

Would it that this day pass
That I might just get by;
And leave It, to the past,
Or at once, I will cry.

Would it that this night pass...
So far, I cannot sleep.
Tormented by the past...
I continue to weep!

Then the dawn brings new light
I ponder and see clearly
I pray for keen insight
And treasure life more dearly

Deuteronomy 28:26
In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
