Feeling a peace of soul
I fell asleep at once
I was no longer sad
So freed from what I was
One asked me, "were you bored?"
"Never!" was my reply.
"I was soothed by the Lord.
I tell you, He heard my cry!"
"He answered me this day.
From my sins, I could rest.
I'd turned another way
With His spirit in my breast!"
