The ward I visited had a return missionary from Japan speak. He left for Japan right after the tsunami, so it was a great kickoff for the broadcast. Afterwards, I wrote a record number of poems in a little over an hour. I posted them on my phone while sitting alone, out in nature. I feel so blessed.

Father, be led
The work of our Father

Look after each other
Enthused get things done.
Have faith the drought will end

Pray the floodgates open
More and more each day.
Plan for each rescue
Bring them safely in
There is much to do
To wash souls, begin.
Love everyone

The mighty healer

To the humble, eager
The Lord's strength is lent.
Decide to "do it right"
ReplyDeleteAnd you will receive
From beyond the veil, light
If you but believe.
Sometimes you have to "back track"
ReplyDeleteTo get where you should be.
To receive the strength you lack
To get yourself moving.
Recall things in a journal
Let the spirit guide
Endure like life's a final
With God on your side.
God won't let us fail

Have faith. All is well.
The heavens will open.
A miracle comes

As God speaks to us
His love we detect
Our baptisms were low
ReplyDeleteWe looked where we could be strong
Our numbers to grow
Through reactivation's song.
Where once we had been weak
Light touched those around
Who brings more in who seek
To know what they have found
The good news comes alive

Conversions unto Christ
Are for God' work and glory.
Callings build on each other
ReplyDeleteAnchored on Christ.
Linking lessons together
Lifting us to light.
God's hour is upon us

To widely seek, thus
What He would have us do
An invitation, humbly born
ReplyDeleteOf our love for Christ and others.
Will never offend or scorn.
Have faith, brothers and sisters.
On a spiritual journey

With love and light forming
Through each step we take
Freedom and obedience are our gifts from God
