I would that I not shrink
From this bitter cup to drink
For I would much rather die than be a quitter
As life's lessons would be lost, both sweet and bitter

Thus swallowed up in the will
Of the Father, His works to fulfill
I submitted to all of the pain
Recognizing the greater goal to gain
