Upon the Cross

Upon the cross He hung for us
And suffered there in pain
In agony and loneliness
The Father's will to gain

Upon the cross He offered up
Prayers in our behalf
Unto the Father, as the Son
And Savior of all man

Upon the cross, He selflessly
Did all that was required
Showing goodwill ceaselessly
We should be so inspired!
