Let us lay aside
Every weight we bear
And no longer hide
From our Father's care
Let us be as Job
Patient in all ways
His faith did naught but grow
For all of His days
He had known great wealth
Blessed beyond measure
Then he lost his health
And all one could treasure
Still Job, then, honored
The trust He had been given
As strength he gathered
Through the hope of heaven
Every weight we bear
And no longer hide
From our Father's care
Let us be as Job
Patient in all ways
His faith did naught but grow
For all of His days
He had known great wealth
Blessed beyond measure
Then he lost his health
And all one could treasure
Still Job, then, honored
The trust He had been given
As strength he gathered
Through the hope of heaven
