Imagine Your Home and Family Bridge

Imagine your home
Close to heaven
And that when children roam
They take what you have given

Onto a long bridge which you have made
To cross a stream, dreadful to wade
Each principle taught represents a slat
That will help them remain where safety's at

Each slat is maintained by prayers and deeds
As to the high road this bridge leads
Each Family Home Evening, chore, or song
Offers more security.  The bridge is strong.

Imagine the height as they rise
And are no longer before your eyes
The stream below them doesn't look so bad
For each missed lesson, there is a gap

But, regardless, let them know
Wherever they are, there is a rope
That they can climb, for a way out
If they find they flailing about
