Here is the Hard Cold Truth

Here is the hard cold truth
When you screw up your youth
It is a long way back
And the train's moved up the track

So the sooner you start
The better- for your heart
For your family, your future
And for wisdom to tutor

Be sure to leave it all behind
For habits lay dormant in the mind
Your place in the home then to destroy
Repent completely and know true joy

On the train there is understanding
And a solid foundation for standing
Where joy of service surpasses all else
Through the Love of Christ our best source of help

Ephesians 3:17-19

 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

“O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in thy youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep [all] the commandments of God.” (Alma 37:35.)
