The Roof Caved In

The roof caved in
My world fell apart
Fear took to win
And tear at my heart

But, I stepped forward
And saw the bright sky
I am not a coward
I have faith to try

I felt myself blessed
To have had such pain
To have confessed
I had much to gain

Now my humble roof
Is brightly repaired
With a skylight as proof
It pays not to be scared
