Holy Spirit, come in and through
Open each land, each heart anew
Help voices ring, made light in love
In joy, to sing, of Thee above
Of goodness bright, help minds to see
Their souls aright, pointed to Thee

Holy Spirit, come in and through
Come teach my heart what I should do
With sins denied, humble and meek
To know not pride, but goodness seek
To shine for Thee, and lamp the way
That others seek a brighter day

Each home, each heart, the old, the new
To ponder much and speak of Thee
Help eyes to touch more tenderly
Keep safe from harm, the weak, the sick
Help us move on from each conflict

Holy Spirit, shine forth from me
As Thy servant, I want to be
Light up my eyes that others see
Thy gospel, bright, so full of Thee
Help us repent, with faith to search
And grow in desire to fill up Thy church
