Forgiving is the beginning
Of being transformed in Jesus Christ
As the wall of hardness is thinning
The Spirit enters with light
This gift of Himself, is a free offering
As we plea for the release of pain
He lifts us to peace from suffering
As we "let go", His love we retain
How great is this joy of forgiveness!
To have sanity, restored
To have the Spirit bear witness
You have been redeemed of the Lord
To feel His love towards all creatures
And accept His payment for sin
To have His countenance on our features
Overcoming the world, through Him
