I can't believe he brought me this far just to leave me
In the wilderness all alone
For wings of faith, I pray, fully grieving
And tender mercy, I am shown
A crippled dove lands on my head
And I recognize God's hand because of it
Once filled with pity, I feel blessed instead
As through these borrowed wings I benefit
This is my story in the wilderness. Divorced from my Mormon family, grieving the loss of my once Father-in-Law... dove did land on my head!
