The Mind is Brightened

The mind is brightened

By the light we seek

To become frightened

Our thoughts become bleak

Stimulate your mind

With prisms of pleasure

All the colors we find

Are the Earth's treasures

Pray for Truth filled with Light

For your greatest needs, confide

Humbly seek for light

Let the scriptures be your guide

There's light in goodness

There's light in love

There's light in meekness

There's God above
