Christ the Servant

Christ the servant
Savior and King
Conquered the serpent
Salvation to bring

With purity
He lived and taught
Through charity
Salvation is sought


Charity- the pure love of Christ

Free from sin or guilt; blameless. A person becomes pure when his thoughts and actions are clean in every way. A person who has committed sin can become pure through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and receiving the ordinances of the gospel.

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart shall receive the Lord’s blessings, Ps. 24:3–5
Be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord, Isa. 52:11 (D&C 133:4–5).
Blessed are the pure in heart, Matt. 5:8 (3 Ne. 12:8).
Whatsoever things are pure, think on these things, Philip. 4:8 (A of F 1:13).
