I Have Received His Kingdom

I have received His kingdom
And strive much to be pure
That I might know sage wisdom,
Be faithful, and endure

I pray that His sound judgments
Not need to chastise me,
That the enemy not triumph,
As, God, I am following

Of much I am ashamed!

I face doubts and anxiety,

Help my faith become a flame.

Father in Heaven, How, I trust in Thee!

I pray for faith to speak of Thee

Let me not be ashamed

Lest my enemies, triumph see

Help my unbelief find faith

Doctrine and Covenants 136:42
Be diligent in keeping all my commandments, lest judgments come upon you, and your faith fail you, and your enemies triumph over you. So no more at present. Amen and Amen.
