Every year I try to write new Father's Day Poems
It is hard to think of an Universal description of Him
Until you think of God- who is always there
wise
solid
a part of you
Father is the one you call
When you have had a scare
When you are stuck at a wall
And you need life to be fair
Having tested mortal paths
He provides security
Unto gratitude for all one has
And for durability
He can lend a hand
Listen to you worry
Be there to understand
And slow you down when you shouldn't hurry
