Does Christ's Church Exist?

Does Christ's church exist
Upon the earth today?
Yes, it does! I insist,
And we've covenants to obey

We're The Church of Jesus Christ
His Saints as in the days of old
We've His Light before our eyes
And His message of peace to unfold

As fishermen we seek
Those He has prepared
The poor in Spirit, the meek
To them His gospel's shared

As laborers in His field
We enjoy His blessed fruit
We seek the largest yield
By tending both branch and root

As His shepherds we seek the one
That has gone out astray
Bringing Him back to the Son
For safety in our day

With His oil we strive to be bright
And stand together upon a hill
To share forth the hope of His light
And the need of good works to fulfill
