Words alone cannot convey
What I'm feeling in my heart
So overcome with love today
Born of Spirit that imparts

Its voice is not loud 

Tumultuous or harsh

There is no thunder

Just perfect mildness

That is still and small

Soft that it might enter

Whispering truths, that help me learn,
Teaching me things which I should do
While piercing my soul that my heart burns
As I feast on Christ's words anew
