When I Go to Church

When I go to church
Spiritually, I'm home
This high place that I perch
Frees me soaring... and things I'm shown

I belong to a family of believers
Where each has a place that awaits
Through God, we are high achievers
Forordained before our earth birth dates

God...we're born spiritually of Him...He is our Father
Jesus lights us, purely...as our Brother
The Spirit... leads us to gather
Dwelling in us...of the Godhead, He is another

No wonders we've a holy house
That the endowed who are worthy enter
There...though the body may drowse
The spirit reaches and teaches our inner

3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus

3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to
be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 3:17 That
Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and
grounded in love, 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what
is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 3:19 And to know
the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled
with all the fulness of God
