In the darkness of night
Such stillness... and silence
Oft my mind fills with light
And impressions of the highest
How sweet it is to sleep
After having said my prayer
My rest is truly deep
Giving to God my cares
Then...the alarm and news
Starts the noise of day
Every morning I choose
To leap and forget to pray
How can each day go by
Unlinked to the next
My thoughtlessness does try
And ever disconnects
Studying the gospel is like- Catching a double rainbow; Each drop of wisdom reflects light- Hinting there is more to see and know!
