We Look Forward to that Unspeakable Pleasure

We look forward to that unspeakable pleasure
Which at this time we cannot fathom or measure
When we will see the Lord face to face
There to receive the fullness of His grace

The nearer man approaches this perfection
From years of works and introspection
The closer he is to that heavenly veil
Where, with our faith, there's light that does not fail

Life is all about learning
And spiritually discerning
It’s about heeding and growing
Through wisdom sought for till showing

With spiritual maturity there is sweet joy
For having experienced much grace
Thus to be wrapped in such love to enjoy
That when death comes it is peaceful to embrace

Twenty six plain and simple words
A single sentence from James 1:5
Has sent the gospel to all the world
Pure, undefiled and divine

Let us thank dear Joseph
Who thought and upbraided not
Who prayed to know and lept
From the wisdom and aid he had sought

God delights to honor
Those who seek to do His will
And we will journey farther
When His works, here, we fulfill

Where e’re each mind wanders
There is a path we can trust
As we righteously seek for answers
To whatever is puzzling us
