The Love of God

The love of God
Is shed a broad
When the Holy Ghost
Is felt innermost

For it is as a seed
Planted in our hearts to swell
To nourish the soul
And build the kingdom whole

And as it is thus
We need to be righteous
To have the spirit with us
And fulfill each sacred trust

And where is this framed?
But inside of the home
Where the commandments are named
And schooled lest we roam

Let us be like unto Solomon
Who asked for an understanding heart
That our family knows our love for them
And our feelings for God we can impart

And as this is so crucial
We must enlist all whom we can
With judgments that aren't partial
We must help each woman, child, and man

For where is the kingdom of God
Upon the earth today?
But, in each member's heart
And where the spirit might stay

The love of God
is shed abroad
in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost
which is given unto us

Alma 32:28
28 Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me.

Ephesians 3:13-19
13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Luke 17:20
20 ¶ And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
