Live Your Life For Today

Live your life for today
And in an eternal way
For this is our time for labor
There to be found as salt of flavor

Nourish your faith each day
Ponder, meditate, and pray
Study the word of God
While sharing His love abroad

Learn to be honest in all things
And think of the praise this brings
Not for the world or to find honor
But, from a desire to please our Father

Each day can be filled with riches
We can find meaning even in glitches
With effort we can go the distance
Remembering to apply repentance

Living a life as the Savior taught...
How we're to do this requires thought
For as we are led by the Spirit and light
We will find we are happy in life
