May a Constant Flow of Love

May a constant flow of love
Pour down upon our prophet
That there be not but room enough
Amongst the Saints for profit

Let this love spill o'er the earth
To bless the minds who've been prepared
That their souls may then rebirth
From the rich feelings there in shared

May we ever pray to God
For there in we have joy to own
While kneeling upon gospel sod
May new impressions be made known

May we ever sustain new
Those who lead the church today
As for wisdom we pray too
Unto confidence there to obey

May I humbly make a comment here. The first two lines are from a prayer I said the night before. I wrote them down and went to sleep. The next morning I awoke to birds singing at 5:15 and I played on the piano. I then wrote two poems. I kept having poems come to me, including this one. I even wrote one on the way to work. While telling a teacher I thought of another. And then upon telling another teacher, I wrote one more. Eight in total- and all before my teaching day started! This takes having a prayer in your heart to new meaning for me. What a day to remember. What a day of overflowing love!
