The Things of God Are of Great Import

The things of God are of great import
Such that they require threads of faith
And ever is one applying effort
Lest unraveling causes our hope to grow faint

With strong threads one's ready for weaving
To be encircled in the warmth of God's love
But, beware- flaxen chords hide for deceiving
As they seek to weaken the strength made thereof

They're the ills of the world reaching to mingle
To destroy fine texture and pattern
All they need is one thread on which to single
For from there, comes the pull for tatter

What can be done when the cloth shreds?
But be steadfast and increase the weaving
As a steady supply of purest threads
Can be corded before they're weaved in

Through covenant making and through prayer
One finds the peaceable things of God
That while continually applying watch care
One can weave an expanse that is broad

I Knew It, and I Knew That God Knew It
