Oh, That I Were An Angel

Oh, that I were an angel
I'd bless the human race
I'd go to the right and left of man
And would go out before their face

Oh, that I were an angel
Called to extend Father's love
I would work to prepare His people
For their great day to ascend above

Where ever there is sorrow
Or a need for heavenly Light
There is sufficient strength to borrow
And there is wisdom blessedly bright

Come men and pray for angels
To assist you each new day
That when ever life is dangerous
There is naught reason to be afraid

D&C 84: 88
And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up.
