If Jesus had come to our day...
For His descent as a small infant
The media would be in the way
And how our faith would be so different

Recognized as the Son of God since birth
Generations would line up for miles
Too, He would be asked to travel the earth
And turn to the cameras with hugs and smiles

If Jesus had come to our day
We would press and not leave Him alone
We would record each thing He would say
And not a free moment would be His to own

Through His influence, pure love would lead
Til we were rid of contention and fear
For we'd be anxious to turn a good deed
Just in the chance He might come to be near
