Throughout all the eras of history
Rulers have sought for enduring fame
For this some used tyranny and misery
To build up their power of imperial reign
But the test of time gives a chortle
As the empire crumbles away
For no matter, we are but mortal
And we all have to die some day
In contrast, one ever humble
Who was as a servant of sacrifice
Was truly the one most noble
And endured the immortal price
He spoke of spiritual hunger
As well as physical needs
He would that we not suffer
And when we come unto Him, He feeds
He gives us rest unto our souls
For His yoke is easy and His burden is light
To feed the flock of God is our role
And He grants us power to serve with might

Matt. 11: 29-30
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
