To Let Go

To let go is to sense
And not live in pretense
I've my own faults to see
My own set of shortcomings

To let go is to do
To conquer and subdue
And when I would to seethe
I will relax and just breathe

To let go is to tell
What will set me to dwell
For when I would to fret
I will ask "have I prayed yet?"

To let go is to stand
With dignity at hand
When others need rescue
My support is not askew

To let go is to hear
With a listening ear
It's a need I can address
I'll offer prayers and fear less

To let go is to know
We've each areas to grow
To let go is to trust
We've each a path to Jesus

To let go is much more
There's so much to live for
There's hope for those who thirst
With God's help, as He's put first
