The bitterness in the cup
Caused His body to shrink
He would that He not sup
But, as the Father wilt, He did drink
While trembling from all the pain
He bled from every pore
Our pain will be the same
If we void what He remitted for
Oh, that we might not suffer
But repent with sins denied
With His Holy Spirit to buffer
We can become clean and sanctified
