I Fully Admit

I fully admit
As now I can see
I've ignored God's promptings
And, I've been deceived

And I have uncovered
For one last recounting
Why all my thoughts hovered
When my problems were mounting

Simply put, I was stuck
In the same thoughts each day
Then, this thought struck
That I forgot to pray

My life was centered
On a false God
Now as I venture
I hold to the rod

There, in His word
He speaks to me
And now that I've heard
Those stuck thoughts flee
