To Those Known As Ex-Mormons

To those known as ex-Mormons
(We have all known one or two)
Please lay aside aversions
There's a new Saint inside you

Come back, you're as a temple
There's healing balm- just for you
One small change makes a ripple
From one step- miracles view

  2. Dear John
I cannot begin to understand the trying times of the early saints. I know that there was to be a restoration of all things. and this included polygamy- for a season. I don't have a testimony of polygamy. I think this is a test of our faith today.
I joined the church after a series of events. I had very distinct impressions and sacred experiences...
The bottom line is, does the book of mormon burn within the searching heart and speak peace in this troubling time?
Does the visit of God the Father and Jesus Christ to a young boy- thrill your soul- to know they speak to us today?
Does the fact that we've temples to seal families for time and all eternity give comfort?
Does the holy ghost, as a member of the Holy Ghost, testify to us of what is truth?
Does our modern day prophet speak just what we need to see us through our time?
Does the good works of the church today, show compassion and love unto all of God's children?

I wish the best for you and I pray that all your searching will bring you peace.
