There’s a Light Which Shineth

There’s a light, which shineth in the darkness
And it has His power to give words to me
If I put all my trust in the spirit,
I'll be lead to do what's just and all that’s good

Prayerfully, I ask for blessings from God
And through His grace, He giveth gifts to me
And, if I maintain an honest believing heart,
I will want to know what's just and what is good

In humility, I ask for what I'm needing
And by His power he showeth much to me
If I keep His commandments as I should
I’ll build a testimony of all that’s good

A heart with joy and a mind with light,
I can fill my life with truth and love
