We Are All on the Same Team

 We're all on the same team

Though some considered odd

Remember how we're seen

As children born of God

He knows us and loves us

Jesus testifies of this

We can trust in Him and know

We have His Light for goodness

Hiding

Hiding out

Laying low

Avoiding life

Saying, "No!"

Stained

Tainted and flawed

With trials on Earth.

I prayed to God

For comfort and worth

And found it!

Speak Out

Speak out in such a way 

That hearts are stirred for good

Pray for the words to say

And start with gratitude 

Thinking about Martin Luther King, his dream, and long suffering in seeking change.

The Lord Will Come

The Lord will come, here, in the flesh;

For Israel to see

Each knee will bow and tongue confess

And peace, on Earth, will be

Remember how the spirits soon to be cast out confessed who Jesus was?
